If you’re a service provider building or refreshing your website, you’ve probably asked yourself:
“What pages do I actually need?”

The truth is you don’t need a 15-page website to look professional and get booked out.
You just need a few strategic, beautifully designed pages that tell your story clearly, attract your dream clients, and make it easy to work with you.

Here are the 5 basic website pages every service provider should include, plus a few extras that make your brand feel polished and cohesive across every platform.

1. Home Page – Your First Impression

Your home page is your digital handshake, it’s often the first place visitors land, and it sets the tone for everything else.

It should:

  • Instantly say who you help and what you offer
  • Include a short tagline or brand statement
  • Highlight your main services
  • End with a clear call to action (like “Work with me” or “Let’s chat”)

Think simple and scrollable. Visitors should understand your brand in 10 seconds or less.

2. About Page – Build Trust and Connection

Your About page isn’t just about you, it’s about why you’re the right fit for your clients.

Include:

  • A warm, conversational intro
  • The story behind your business or mission
  • A peek at your process and values
  • A call-to-action that naturally leads to your services

Add a touch of personality, a fun fact, favorite drink, or behind-the-scenes photo makes you more relatable.

3. Services Page – Clarity Converts

This page does the heavy lifting for your business.
It tells visitors exactly what you do, who it’s for, and how it can help them.

Include:

  • A clear list of your services or packages
  • What’s included + expected results
  • A simple step-by-step of how to work with you
  • A button to inquire or book a call

Speak your clients’ language make it about their transformation, not just your features.

4. Portfolio or Case Studies – Show, Don’t Just Tell

If you’re a creative or service-based business, your portfolio is your strongest proof.

Include:

  • 3–5 standout projects
  • A short story behind each one (problem → process → results)
  • Before-and-after visuals if possible
  • Client testimonials

Focus on the transformation. People love to see what’s possible when they work with you.

5. Contact Page – Make It Effortless

Your contact page should feel friendly and easy to use no friction, no overwhelm.

Include:

  • A quick, welcoming note (“I’d love to hear from you!”)
  • A simple contact form or booking link
  • Your email address (yes, always include it!)
  • Social media links if relevant

Keep your form short. Asking too many questions can stop someone from hitting “send.”

Hidden Essentials: Legal Pages

They might not be the most exciting part of your website, but they’re so important.
Make sure your site includes:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Terms & Conditions

These pages protect both you and your clients and help your business look professional and trustworthy.

Bonus page: Instagram-Friendly “Link in Bio” Page

One of my favorite add-ons for my clients, an on-brand “link in bio” page that matches your website’s look and feel. It’s perfect for keeping everything cohesive and helps your audience move seamlessly from Instagram to your offers, freebies, or booking links.

Think of it as your mini home page for social media consistent, clean, and totally on-brand.

When it comes to building your website, simplicity and clarity always win.
Focus on these basic website pages for service providers, add thoughtful design, and infuse your brand personality throughout.

Your website should feel like you, welcoming, clear, and ready to grow with your business.
